My name is Anthony Ugochukwu Ugoagha Okamgba, a native of Omuobia-Olokoro Umuahia South in Abia State, Nigeria. I was raised in the Catholic Church, where I served as a Mass servant. On the 2nd of April 1994, during a retreat program organized by the Assemblies of God Church in Lagos, I gave my life to Christ.
Before moving abroad, I studied Petroleum Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt. In April 2004, I relocated to Germany. From my first day there, I sought fellowship in the house of God, serving faithfully and growing in the knowledge of Christ.
In 2014, I had a divine encounter through a vision in which the Lord spoke to me and gave me the name God’s Throne Church, commissioning me to shepherd His flock. I continued to serve faithfully under the leadership of the senior pastor of Assemblies of God Church in Oberhausen, Germany.
After 18 months of stewardship, I was ordained on July 30, 2016, under Vineyard International Ministry, Assemblies of God, Oberhausen. Shortly after, on August 7, 2016, God’s Throne Church was officially established. Since then, by the grace of God, the church has continued to grow and flourish.
I am joyfully married and blessed with two children. God has been faithful, and I remain committed to the ministry to which He has called me.
Just one week later, on August 7, 2016, God’s Throne Church was birthed as a Pentecostal, revival-driven ministry committed to soul-winning, discipleship, and the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit. Since then, the church has been a place of prayer, healing, deliverance, and restoration, where the fire of revival continues to burn.
Pastor Anthony is joyfully married and blessed with two children. His ministry is marked by a passion for revival, the uncompromising preaching of the Word of God, and the move of the Holy Spirit. He remains a vessel in God’s hands, dedicated to leading men and women into deeper encounters with Christ and equipping the saints for the work of the Kingdom.
