Caught in the wind

by Pastor Anthony Okamgba

Philippians 2:12-13; “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act to fulfill his good purpose”

Some of us entered this strange Land strong, purposeful, full of vision, but many of us have derailed and got caught in the wind of Destruction, the wind of this ungodliness.

The wind of rebellion, the wind of disobedience, the wind of immortality, the wind of unrighteousness and sin.

However, there is a call for us to return home.

There is a call for us all to come back to our source. A call of repentance, A call to revival, A call to fulfill the original vision and purpose of God in your life.

Identifying which season you are in allows you to take proper action in your Life.

God has given you all that you need to fulfill your purpose; now you are called to obey.  When you live outside of your purpose, you miss out on what God has in store for you, your career, your family, and your joy. But when you obey, you are blessed. One thing I have learned is that “obedience has no consequence!”  When you seek God first and His purpose, “all things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).

It may feel difficult or nearly impossible to live in our purpose because of the current season you are in. Relationships, jobs, and finances may also hold you back from living in your true purpose.  However, unlike obedience, there are consequences for disobedience.  Fear of stepping into your purpose will not only negatively affect you, but also others.

I pray that as you identify your Gift Mix and your Spiritual Season, you will allow God to use you.  When God says” for I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11), believe him.

God Bless You as You Meditate Upon the Word of God.
